Logo...

Our Logo

I looked at many logos, and took inspiration from other bloggers.
After creating the pen and paper, i was unsure of how i should go about making the logo as it had looked a little bit plain and boring. After a good ten minutes researching, i came across this lovely logo, by none other than the photographer  +Alysha Joosse  and mixed it around, attempting to create a cool effect, alike what has been created in her logo, and applied it to my idea already in my head. However, i still found that i felt there was something missing, that would help people to recognise who we were. Using the name from the Media Ultra, i attached a circle to the end of my swirl, and it fitted perfectly.  This however, i still felt that there was not enough, and needed our names signed on it. So, after a bit of tweaking and amendments, i finally agreed that my newly created logo was good enough for our blogs. Imade sure the letters werent too small otherwise, they would not be easily read.

To begin with i found a few logos on the internet, and took a creative side to its idea. I began with one from another blogging site, created by Sara Waltemire. After spotting one of her older posts, with a pen as part of a logo, it sparked an idea in my head. I instantly began to open up my online paint application, and began designing. Using one of my study periods in school, i decided to attempt to create a more sophisticated blog logo. However, i realised that it is not 'easy' to think of a logo on spot, in front of a blank screen. That is when I began my research into blog logos. We did not, however choose this idea that we first created . We attempted a simple, and easy logo, but after a sudden brainstorm, we soon changed ideas, to something a little more complex.  then got the approval of the group, and posted it online, for them to add to their blog.
