Makeup and effects

I gave Nicky a realistic looking nose bleed, to show that she had been in a fight even before our main protagonist had appeared. This is typical of an action movie since most protagonists either start a fight or join in halfway. Alike the action genre, we decided not to start the fight as it is harder to get the action suspension to create a fight. Instead, we got our protagonist to enter into the fight, as this instantly gave her the upper hand, as she is behind the antagonist.
Since we did not have much money, we used simple makeup techniques, found online to help us. We searched through a few online videos until we had found the perfect one.

We decided that the antagonist too would have a bruise on his face. Because he only has one bruise on his neck, it showed us that they clearly have the upper hand in the fight, with the other character having a cut and also a bruise.

Faith, however, for our protagonist, we did not add any makeup effects to her, since no punches actually hit her, in visible spots, (with only one strike on her leg.) she did not need any makeup on. Using no makeup shows that she hasn't been in any fights and that she was unprepared for what was about to go on.

Faith has uploaded a video here of our makeup, and unfortunately, it is not working on my blog. So please go and look at our edited video.
