Analysing my pRODUCTION IDEAS

Today, we finally decided that we should not do horro, as many people in our class had that genre, and that we wanted to seem more original. Horror would also need specialist equiptment, like a good night time camera, and outside lighting, along with waterproof equiptment for the typical rainy weather.
After many brainstorming ideas, we came back to an idea of a fight scene, which was not normally in a horro film. This naturally made us rethink our options. We did a good and bad checklist for both.
Action:
GOOD
- quick editing makes our shot sequence more fast paced.
- any weapons can be used.
- antagonist/ protagonist can be any gender.
-fake blood is easy to come across.
-can be filmed in daylight.
- shots wont be pixelated
Bad:
- since we are on a low budget, we cannot do explosions, and would need good effects to do that.
- Could get injured during a fight by accident.
HORROR:
GOOD:
-fake blood can come across easily.
-Dark places are easy to find.
- Lighting can be very effective,
-Soundtracks easy to come across
BAD:
- would need a strong camera for dark shots.
- could turn out pixelated.
- a shap object would be needed, and we dont want to injure one another by accident.

Instead, we decided upon action, since it had more benefits towards our production.
